          ... day here. Went into town for the day and had a great paella for lunch, same place we had it with Robyn and Richard four years ago. Still as good now! 27/10. Off to Bordeaux for three days sight seeing. Hotel is good and on a direct "light rail" connection to Bordeaux. 1.50 euro and the ticket is good on train bus and ferry for one hour.           ... obscure alley there it was - a completely full up surf lodge! They kindly recommended another called Koala just around the corner. Here I was greeted by an aggressive dog who was taken aback by my sheer lack of fear at his attack and contented himself by sitting and watching as I walked by to chat to his owner.           ... only English wasn't a problem, it was the start of the holidays too so everywhere was packed.           ... enchanted. Every so often we'd round a corner and catch a view of the sea sparkling below the wooded hills; the streets were quiet and it was possibly the loveliest place we'd been so far.
