    ... the Seychelles diving, golfing, more diving, and fishing. As a first dive destination, I definitely spoiled myself for the future. We had little internet, no TV, and no phone service. And I loved every minute of it. It was the perfect place for a small group to disappear. Although, when we go back, we'll definitely need a better solution to getting around (thanks for driving Sam).

    Oh, and everyone got a taste of Dubai at the end but that's a story for another time.

    ... at Reef Apartments only to find the room they gave us could not access our Isurf card. Devastated, we had to sit in the un-air conditioned lobby to use the net. I couldn't do it. It was too hot. The kids watched a few episodes of God –knows-what in the lobby while KC and I sat in air conditioning and read. The heat was clearing getting to us we were cranky in paradise and ready to leave. ...

    ... and it did not work so we had to go to the lobby and sit there and watch there. It still was not that good. Our shows kept passing half way through. In the lobby the air conditioning system consists of one fan blowing on low speed so it was HOT!

    For supper we had spaghetti. We went to bed early because we had to get up early.

    ... 10h00 to return after 14h00.

    Marine taxes are very high (Sisters EUR 25 or SR 500, Curieuse EUR 15). We were happy to pay the tax as it is used to ensure the protection of the marine life so that the awesome snorkeling we experienced today is kept for generations to come.

    We swam with a turtle at Sisters which really didn't mind all the humans swimming with it and touching its flippers and scratching it's back. We took bread with us to feed ...

    ... have been the mode of transport for 140 euro, plus some money for a taxi to get back to the ferry in time). After a slow trip along the coastline we arrived at Grand Anse where we spent time swimming and drinking Seybrew before taking our trusty transport to the Reunion Nature Reserve to see the giant tortoises and to watch how coconut oil is made by the oxen grinding the pieces of the coconut.
