Today was an extremely early day! We had to be off the ship and meet our boat at 7:30! I was able to get one cup of coffee and s bit of cereal before we left. We took some fig Newtons and some water with us...it was going to be a very hot muggy day. I believe the temperature got up to the mid 90s as was the humidity.

... En El Paraiso Raggae Beach Bar, we received one signature drink and then whatever else we wanted to buy for the remainder of approximately an hour at each venue. Suffice to say that, even with warnings to "pace yourself" from our hosts, Doug and Sylvia (and driver Santiago), the end of the day was, for many, drunker than they had perhaps intended.

... There are lots of souvenir shops with a lot of the usual tat but some nice jewellery shops with vast selections of diamonds which I was swiftly directed away from. We had lunch overlooking the ocean at a place called Jeanie's. Not the best food ever but it was nice just for the view and pina coladas. I really want to hire a convertible jeep to drive around the island so may do that when Mark and Efrosini arrive later in the week. Tomorrow I think we will head to the ...
