... be one of only a few guests at the hotel. Dinner tonight was a steak at restaurant named Don Giovanni's. Food was very good. Three sons of the founder run the restaurant. We met two of them. They shared some thoughts on where to visit on the Adriatic Coast after Termoli. Much of what they shared, we did not understand. Somehow they came to think that Jerry speaks Italian.

We really enjoyed taking a day off from our vacation trip to relax. Travel can be so taxing. ...

... more than accounted for that. I think Italy has a lot of work to do. Once we drove past Foggia we started noticing young girls on the side of the roads. They were all prostitutes touting for business and they were along this road for the next 50 km! They must get dropped off as there is nothing but highway, rubbish on the side of the road and fields of crops. Some of them had chairs set up to wait in ...

... down on Positano before heading back through the wiggly roads through the mountains. After driving back through Naples we drve right accross Italy to a farmhouse in a olive orchard where we were staying the night. We visited a seafood shop on the fishing wharf and Dad bought oysters and mussels and scallops which mum cooked up for dinner. The farmhouse was a little rough but we spent the night planning some of the other destinations to follow. Good Night for now. - Grace

Some things don't change! The marina space at Petacciato is on of them. We had swum at this beach many years ago when we were house hunting at Carunchio, in the mountains close to the coast of southern Abruzzo. Clean sand, clear water and plenty of space before the Italian Summer ...

          ... just awesome!

We walked through the streets to Alex's house, where I gawked at all the beautiful rooftops from her balcony. Then it started to hail haha. I've never seen hail before.

The storm passed in time for us to collect the kids from school and take them to their afternoon sport classes. Olivia is 6 and went to gymnastics and Paublo is 11 and went to volleyball. Al showed me some of the big piazzas and churches whole we waited for the kids. We even enjoyed ...
