... amazing as there were so many of them. The next part of our journey took us to Cape Point where we took a vernacular railway to the top and I walked the further101 steps to the top where the lighthouse was! It was incredibly windy on the top and difficult to stand up but luckily the food has been very good since we've been here and the extra weight helped me stay on my feet!!!! ... swim to find the seals. The get in was considerably easier as we used a beach that had little kelp in the water. When we approached the rock that the seals were bathing on, we clapped our hands to entice them in to the water to see what we were. As they jumped in so did we, and dived just a few metres under the water to join the seals. It was amazing swimming along next to them. They are very curious swimming right up to you and staring with their huge eyes to see what you are. ...
