    Today has been an adventure. We first had to get a taxi (our first of this trip) to get to the airport to pick up the rental car. The Rijeka airport is actually on an island about 20-30 minutes away from town. At least we got to see more of the surrounding area! From there, we drove west to the city of Pula.     ... little village for many many years. It was like stepping back in time. The pews we sat on were likely occupied by Kroncich's regularly.
