    ... and cool. The scenery was gorgeous and I kept imagining camping somewhere along the river. We didn't see anyone doing this but there were a few locals with their dogs swimming.

    The walk ended up in the historic old part of Montreux which was nice to see and we lucked out by choosing a tucked away pub that served excellent food. After dinner we went back to Les Avants on the train and were home before 10.

    ... photos and then down to the "beach" (i.e. stones going down to the water) to have a quick paddle. While cooling our feet we saw a Mumma swan with 4 cygnets floating towards us. Awww how cute.     ... Blanc & Agile du Midi in Chamonix (which Jeff & I visited in 2008) and the Matterhorn in Zermatt.
