... Vela Luca. This island is hilly & blanketed rwith the most beautiful wildflowers - yellow, blue, pink, purple and bright red poppies scattered everywhere. Deep blue skies, tortuous mountain passes that suddenly open to startling views of the Adriatic Sea - awesomely dramatic & stunningly beautiful! We only had a couple of hours before leaving on the car ferry to our next destination - but what a couple of hours! We entered ...

Jerolim and his wife Maritsa gave us a presentation about their 14 products- from just organically grown olive oil to ointments against mozzy bites and depression. Very inspiring and fantastic to meet people with the same attitude towards sustainable agriculture, family values and cherishing every moment, no matter ...

... was brutally hot with some long hills but just really great views the whole way and an adorable town at the end which made a nice destination. Always best to have a goal and an end point. Felt good to get out and do something active and different, well, good in theory. Mini rant: diabetes really sucks. The whole ride there I battled lows (bad ones... started with 2) which felt pretty gross, and didn't do much for my muscles up those hills. I ...
