... stunning coves and turquoise waters, up into the hills and pine plantations, through local villages and then back to the coast at Fethiye.

Staying at a hotel above the yacht marina and port which is huge and has some incredibly expensive and enormous yachts and motor launches, a lot of which are covered for winter. The population is about 80,000, and it's a big tourist spot for British people apparently, and obviously a prosperous and modern city.

... until they were bored and eat lunch and then up anchor and sail in to town. On Saturday, after a long last day of sailing and playing in the sea, we waved goodbye to the last of our charter guests and strolled back to the yacht slightly shell shocked!

Although our neighboring boats invited us to join them in town for a few beers the small drinks we had started supping in the cockpit had already hit the spot and we were slowly becoming comatose!
