Day 12 - some time in the snow!
... and only crashed into the mounds of snow on the sides of the road a few times! We eventually reached a little house which was a restaurant inside with 4 medium sized tables next to each other. Lower Silesia is a good place to hire a car and go on a road trip. Small
town such as Bardo, Klodzko, Swidnica are within easy reach, there
are spectacular views through the hills, surrounded by beautiful
unspoilt countryside which is great for long walks.

Road trip through Lower Silesia 1

We drove southwest from the capital of Lower Silesia, Wroclaw,
for about one and a half hour and we arrived in Swidnica. Thanks
to the local tourism scheme 'City Walk', an audio guide we rented
from the local tourist information centre, some of the history and
interesting folk stories of the town was unfolded while we were
