    Today did not turn out exactly as we intended!!
    When down in the town yesterday we found out that there is a bus which runs along the coast, stopping at most resorts. The service on Sundays is quite restricted, but there was a bus to St Tropez at 11.35am and one back at 4pm.

    Saturday was a very pretty drive from St Remy through the Provence country side down to the mediterranean sea. We drove through St Maxime and then into St Tropez, which was not at all what I expected. It is a tiny little town (well village really) of about 5000 people, although that swells to about 80,000 in summer.     ... we got back, and had another great French soirée. Amandine's aunt and uncle came round for an apero and dinner, food was delicious, company was great, learnt some new words and her aunt even invited me to stay next time I'm here! Our dessert went down very well indeed! Only a little bit left for whoever wakes up first for breakfast... Sad to be leaving tomorrow ...
