However - he was reciting some stories ...But not too legibly unfortunately ... We were told he lives rough in the park the market was on ....

... beeindruckt.

... called Port Douglas - I think we all feel a great sense of relief that all the long drives are over and that we can just stay here and chill for a while. Tomorrow we are booked on a tour to go and see the infamous 'Great Barrier Reef', the tour takes us to 3 locations where we spend some time snorkelling (and we'll possibly squeeze in a little scuba dive?!) The weather (or rather, the cloud which has been following us up the East Coast), has gotten a ...
Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia katandstevie... stall holder let me smoke behind his stall without making me buy anything and it was good to look at stuff made and designed in Australia which hadn't been imported from China. we couldn't afford any of it though but it was nice to look. we wandered through Kuranda stopping occasionally to partake in wine tasting, i wasn't fussy just sling it in and i'll drink it. before reaching the cablecar i bribed ellie with a fizzy drink to stop at an irish pub so i could ...
Kuranda, Queensland, Australia lincolnlady... they even tried to charge us an extra day for picking up the car an hour early - set the irate Scottish woman on the Europcar Trainee girl's ass to rectify the issue!). The Parrotfish hostel in PD was excellent, except for being woken each morning by the fire alarm (burnt toast issues). We had booked a Great Barri** Reef snorkeling trip on a Quicksilv** catamaran from PD to the out** Agincourt reef - good boat, good feed but a few too many snorkel**s, 40+. We ...
Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia thewallers... and receive a very warm welcome from the owners. Having spent the last 9 days in a very nice but small campervan we were taken back by the size of our 1 bedroom apartment - pure luxury. We can't take the smile off our face as we take in the view from the balcony. This place definitely deserves the excellent reviews it gets on Trip Adviser! After settling in and unpacking we take a short walk to look at the local ...

Cape Tribulation, Queensland, Australia toubi-anscha... canopy. I nicely asked him to move off, which he did but he seemed to live around the bungalow as I saw him quite a few times dfuring my stay. During the day went around a selfguided rainforest tour from my resort and then decided to cool off and go to a water hole where you can swim - I dont quite understand why you cant swim in most rivers or the ocean due to crocs and then you can swim in some rivers. I mean the locals say that it is fine to ...
Snapper island, Queensland, Australia sebou... mooched around more Rainforest, looked out for more Cassowaries, and spent more time combing beaches. We spent all morning at Mossman Gorge, part of Daintree National Park. We got there very early in the morning, and walked the full rainforest circuit, ending up by a small creek watching some Jungle Perch in the crystal clear waters. We watched birds and butterflies flutter around, whilst Water Monitors pranced about looking scary and eating ...
