Aujourd'hui ce termine mon aventure en Italie! Mais quelle aventure de reve! La quantites de choses que j'ai apprise, les idees que j'ai acquises et surtout les gens que j'ai connu ont fait de ce voyage un moment inoubliable ! I just left Milano where I took my last course of coffee and I loved it ! I'm actually very sad to leave this beautiful country and all my friends here, who knows when I will see them again? but it's now time ...

... had thought we would be touring facilities - but nope, traditional Italian lunch it is. Lukka was very friendly and knowledgeable about both Italy and the AC Milan techniques that interest Conor so much. For lunch we had pumpkin raviolli with hazelnuts and some meat with polenta (I ate as many bites of meat as I felt was necessary to not seem rude...it tasted like I remember meat, but wasn't that exciting). For dessert we had vanilla gelato with a shot of espresso over it - ...

Museum at Academia for a bit of culture- lots of painting of last supper that were rescued(?) from churches in town. Some really old 14c stuff and some more recent restored items. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

... through all our the shows, smiling, laughing at private jokes and controlling her students, to a certain extent. Leaving the school we came away with a sense of pride and accomplishment....well, I came away with a runny nose, sore throat and strange sensations. It was hard but it's days like these that make this job worth while and make you forget that it is a job. I'm so happy with my gang and I apologized for my fricko moment backstage even though it was my ...

    • Having my first hostel experience in the most hostelly hostel on the face
of the planet. Big, a little grungy, filled with people from all
over the world (mostly dudes), our key wouldn't unlock our room so I
got stuck in the hall for 20 minutes in my pajamas... that's all
      typical stuff, right?
    • Related: I've never seen the movie Hostel and I never plan to, so stop asking
      me.
