Started the morning bright and early with a visit to the gym. Then had breakfast as the boat manovered into Cannes. Because the ship is so big we were docked outside the harbour and had to be ferried into Cannes. Out cabin is above the tender boats so sat and watch while they lower the boats down the side and into the water. They then unlock the boat from the electric crane and manovere the boat around before repeating it for the other two lifeboats. We headed down to celebrity ...

... as the dining room and ocean view buffet. Loads of shops . There are two pools and spas on the deck with a solarium with pool asan adult zone. There is also a gym which didn't check out yet, an Internet room that is really an Apple Store. There is also grassed areas with real grass for bowls and other sports. After checking out the boat we stopped and had lunch. The boat is American owned and so you get the hard sell to buy package deals on drinks etc. prices ...

It is with a touch of sadness that we farewell Mallorca tomorrow. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Every time we think of Irene and Horst in Mallorca we will fondly remember their lovely house, our long conversations over dinner and the interesting areas we visited. ... which makes travelling around safe and easy. We even felt at home with the extensive use of roundabouts which are common in Canberra. Apparently though, some drivers still end up in the middle of the roundabouts because they drive too fast. ... beautiful stained glass windows. It is set in the centre of the town with many shops in the nearby narrow alleys and plazas which we explored by foot.

We had lunch at restaurant popular with the Majorcan people that featured authentic local food which was wholesome and delicious. Irene, who speaks many languages including Spanish explained the menu and helped us order.

After lunch we visited a historical Manor House called Els Calderers De Sant Joan.
