Late afternoon we took the dinghy and went wandering around the town. For a resort it has a lovely atmosphere. Found supermarkets which is always a good thing.

Kobar, we headed around the south east coast, north.

They say bad luck strikes in threes – well today was the third. As we tried to take out our main sail we couldn't budge it – it is totally jammed in the in-mast furler. Not good news at all.

... Mondrago in the morning and have had the perfect sailing conditions (at least for us) with moderate wind and nice sea. Kivu was flying considering we only had 6 knots of wind and we were doing 4 miles an hour! ... beach " area I noticed they had a long jetty on which lounges or chairs were. We left Cannes and headed up the mountains passed a couple of Riveria towns to St Paul de Vence . ... Tonight at dinner we had a bottle of wine that with the exchange rate and gratuity cost us roughly $60 . We have never paid that much in our life.
