In only three days we certainly didn't get time to see everything the island had to offer but what we did see very much impressed us. We also very much enjoyed the food and the wine and the hospitality of the island. The farm where we stayed was run by a family who were very friendly and kind. ... we saw Steve (about eight years since Vicky’s wedding in the Dominican Republic) and it was great to see him in his role as uncle to five-year-old Marc. They played all sorts of games together on the beach and their relationship is so cute and obviously full of love and laughter and silliness and fun. Completely adorbz.

... so I won’t repeat… but will mention what Alex and I agreed upon: that Mallorca (as you probably know, pronounced Malyorca w/ the "L" being almost silent) is a video game environment IRL: plains and beach from the central to eastern parts of the island… mountains to the northwest… many cave systems and old buildings throughout… I’ve even got a name for the game: “Don’t Call Me Majorka”

... while a lovely piano melody was played live in the airport by a talented young man. (Not sure why there was a piano by our gate, but this wasn't a dream, I swear.) The Vueling flight was about 2 hours.
