Another night parked by the beach which means opening the curtain to a beautiful sunrise in the morning. Val happily sat on a seat on the promenade with her cuppa tea and watched the people walk / run / cycle / skate by. Val is definitely a people watcher, which is great because ...
Sitges, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands darrenhough74... p.m, queue times are considerably shorter. We loved Furius Baco, which takes off at 135kph and this is a definite highlight if you are an adrenaline junkie. The Dragon Khan was another highlight. Although initially perturbed to go on a ride with 8 loops, upon exiting the ride, we queued up to go on it again which resulted in rather queasy stomachs and ...
Costa Dorada, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands pv_blog... it was after 1 by the time we left. Then we walked a bit before finding them a taxi to take them back to their hotel and then we finished the walk home and were up until about 2:30. It was a great day - not too many glitches and we had a nice time with Jeanie and Monroe. I am sure that they are tired and they leave on their driving tour of Northern Spain for the next 11 days. They have the Garmin Nuvi 660 with them though - so they are all ...

Well today we woke up to a beautiful sunny day here in Barcelon. We caught the train into the city and went to some of the tourist attractions around the city. The city has some weird buildings and we visited the Sagrada Famillia, which is a building that has been being ...
Barcelona, Spain colin_tameka... at the airport (cheapest "hostel" in town). The morning after we took a bus to Granada where we lodged in a squat for 3 days (Okupa camino de Ronda)...friendly people, cold as a freezer, lot of dogs and rats... but still an amazing experience! After the squat we needed something a bit more comfortable so we decided to contact a member from Hospitalityclub still in Granada: Magda from Poland ...

Barcelona, Spain meenzerIt has been over a month since my return to France. I would be lying if I said that the memory has since waned, but with the aid of my photos, journal entries and such I feel confident that I am, in fact, able to conclude this travel blog with honesty and accuracy. I've no excuse for not finishing in a timely manner, except that life is life, and I live in it every day. With that, apologies, and let's get this over with. Barcelona...the commercial juggernaut of Spain and perhaps ...
Barcelona, Spain papapeta33... its amazing!! So again we were back on the bus and visited another park, I've forgotten the name, but there was absoltely no one around apart from a couple of old women tending to the gardens. It was so peaceful Jon and I just sat under the trees reading our books. That night we ventured out to an oyster bar called (funnily enough) Oysres. I remember walking past it last time I was in ...
Barcelona, Spain danijon... across the street when the really excited girl saw us!!!! nonetheless, we went into the hottest club ever (never have I sweat so much), and the girls Paulina, Julianna & others were there. We danced up a storm till 5am... had a blast! We exchanged numbers and e-mails to keep in touch and exchange pictures, we walked the girls home and talked then Arne & I got some sleep before hitting the road!
Barcelona, Spain benabo... an English speaking tour guide, take you to all of the main sites of Barcelona and you end on the beach for a glass of Sangria. There were several travellers on the tour too. So we all arranged to go out that evening. We met in a square to had several different performers (acrobats, jazz bands, guy eating fire). We then made it to one of the famous beach clubs for the rest of the evening. The next day I was off to Valencia.
