City on Water
... thought it was a very nice room. It was really big, had a large bathroom (which I miss! It seems like all European bathrooms are the size of a closet), beautiful Venetian wood and had a view of the street below. However, it was really cold. The Classic Water City
Next on the must-see list of Italy was Venice. For pure wow factor alone, this may be one of my all time favorite cities. The island portion of Venice is truly fascinating with no motor vehicles or really even bicycles, because anything with wheels would need to navigate a veritable maze of waterways, bridges, and stairs.
