    ... got fuel because we didn't have that much left. The first petrol station we went to didn't have any diesel fuel left so we drove to another petrol station were people served us.     ... most of the day walking and window shopping while Stephen snapped photos. We grabbed a slice of pizza and pop and marched on. We found a lovely, little bakery and enjoyed another slice of pizza, cannoli and a macaroon. Around 2:30pm the weather improved dramatically and we didn't need coats and the sun was shining.     A day of exploration best described our day today. Many hours spent walking down the narrow streets of San Marco, discovering the multitude of shops as well as encountering age old churches nestled between the buildings. A particular excitement was when we found the supermarket (trust us, a difficult feat!), saving us many euro's on food!     ... My first impression of Venice was not very good. We had to wait for a water bus and there were just tourists everywhere. The buildings looked old and daggy. Which is to be expected i know because they are old but somehow they just seemed unimpressive.
