... lunch just around the corner in Hotel Couisianna, sat in the shade, (by now it's over 25 and hot) we have a club sandwich 8/10 and a goats cheese, horseradish and pistachio salad 9/10, both again enjoyable and for me washed down with local white wine, a bargain at less than £3 equiv. and better half's beer, not so cheap.... Having finished our meal it is now off up the funicular railway to the top of the hillside to appreciate a 360degree view from the tower. ...

Today is walking day, so we plan a route with a little help from my 'Triposo' App. This is free and the best App I have found for Worldwide Travel. It even works well offline. Our first planned stop is at the 'Jan Becher Museum' who invented the national alcoholic sprit called ...

... lengths I discover just how much out of shape I am.  'Getting Fit' goes to the top of my 'To Do List'. No more excuses! This place should be £400 per night, but the deal we had was fantastic.  We have a treatment each (massage e.g.), a free drink of our choice and a 3 course dinner including wine.  My accountant quickly works out that with our discount, the meal and all the other freebies we are effectively ...

For the first time we really do feel we are in a foreign land. English other than that being spoken by us Is yet to be heard. This is a popular resort town for Germans and Russians. Yesterday after writing the blog Emma and I descended to the old town as we did so we passed gracious hotels, apartment blocks and restaurants. Yellow in varying shades appears the popular choice of ...
