    ... the beach. We visited a couple of beaches with beautiful water. One day we were sitting in a tavern and could hear thunder, then a big storm came. We had to quickly run to our apartment, and then we got to watch movies while it rained.
    What I loved most about saying in Halkidiki were the beaches were very blue. It was also very fun to see my cousins and play soccer on the beach.

    We sailed out of the bay on our genoa after a quick stop at Onni to thank Leo for the introduction to the mechanic and his help in retrieving the batten tip . We did not want to leave port without it ( fixed or not ) and Leo was the one with the telephone number.

    Karistos lies on a wide bay at the southern end of Evia, Greece's second-largest island after Crete. We were not very impressed with this town. It had seen better days. In fact it was mentioned in Homer’s Iliad, and was a powerful city-state during the Peloponnesian Wars.

    A day trip to Nea Styra allowed us to go for a nice swim with a return ferry boat ride.
    we enjoyed the small ferry ride weather so nice got to Arlene and nicks condo with nicks dad then set up and had coffee then down to the beech for a nice swim along with a walk we returned in the afternoon
    for the evening we went for a coffee and ice cream along the beech in Athens with loads of people around ...

    ... autumn leaves, then moved higher into alpine forest with evergreen pines then higher into ground that was shale rock with no flora.
