... about Santorini, she said, "I’ve never been, but I’m saving Santorini." I can understand the sentiment, as it is a special place, but personally, I don’t think it should be saved. After arriving and taking in its ominous beauty, I regret that it’s taken 44 years to experience the island. It’s a place you could definitely visit many times.
