    ... on board the fast jet ferry to Athens or Piraeus Port and had been told the trip would take five hours. Five hours has come and gone and we are still tossing our way across the sea and will be for another 2 1/2 hours apparently. Its turned into a bit of epic journey and although its more comfortable than a plane its still a very long time to be sitting around and we won't be climbing into bed before 11.30 tonight.     ... Dinner into town, first walked to the Temple of Apollo, structure that was never completed by the then King.     Rami was the early riser today with a morning beach walk while the rest of us slept in!
    We awoke to cloudy skies and even some light rain which is very unusual for the Greek islands in summer. It provided a good excuse for some shopping instead of beach activities.
    The boys did a full lap of the shopping area while Tiff and I did about one block.

    ... I would be collected by Stavros in half an hour. There was no apology from Stavros when he arrived, and he then told me I wouldn't be staying at the Young Inn which I had booked, but at Captain Dounas instead.     ... a while and then headed back to the boat ourselves. I noticed the other diver signal he was down to 50 bar and the leader gave him the OK so I guessed we were near the boat. A few more minutes passed and I began to suspect we were actually searching for the boat, not just heading back to it.
