I must say it was better organised for departure although we were still subjected to the same siren as the gangplanks opened. It seemed to go on for ever. I was surprised that none of the workers wore ear muffs. OH&S would never have allowed that in Australia.

Finally it was our turn to get off at Naxos. It was a mad scramble, but we made it. This place is absolutely beautiful. We had to find a taxi that could take us to our hotel, and get used to driving on the right hand side of the road again, but once at the apartment, we were very impressed. We are just up the road from St George's Beach, can see it from our little balcony.
