For lunch we stopped at a pre-arranged venue where we had a bowl of salad (first healthy thing since leaving Australia), with platters of spaghetti, penne with basil and penne carbonara. With this we had wine and a choice of panacotta or gelato. Plenty of food and drink for all.

... with different objects but the mosaic above the alter is still original and still impressive. The walls are lined with some large interesting paintings that are worth taking the time to ponder over. As usual there was the dried up old body of a saint. Weird.
