I didn't write this until morning~ it was a very late night after our walk. Then there were drinks and dinner all at the Parador.

... body weight. My bike weighs more than that amount ... and then I have my gear (which I am proud to say is slightly under the 10% mark). What it means, however, is that these uphills are even more of a bugger because my body needs to manage not just the weight of my gear, but also the weight of the bike.

In Canada we might call this the garage, but here in Spain, centuries ago, it was a well appointed room where many important decisions were made. ... then a funny thing happened on the way Forum. We became part of the evening crowd.
People were walking (not sure to where), and none of them were in banana suits or baby outfits. We watched what they did, and we did the same. We walked from one ´take-out´ window to another, ordering a vino here, and enjoying a tapas there. The servers in these Saturday night places were entertainers for sure!!
