    We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
    The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

    ... 8211; we had really good food the whole time - loved the dips, tzatziki, feta galore and salads especially. None of us however were brave enough to try the Corfu special – octopi.

    ... relaxing in beautiful surroundings was a top way to finish up in Greece (although we are very much in the minority as to how we have spent our time here as the activities are basically beer, nude volleyball, cocktails, booze cruises, toga parties, more beer etc…so probably what I would have been bang up for 10 years ago…).
