We are up and off early from Icici for a ride down the spectacular Istrian coast. No breakfast at the camping ground so we are on the lookout for a likely cafe. And we soon find it. We look down from the outside balcony at the quite stunning, unspoilt Adriatic coastline as we get to grips with big ham and cheese toasties washed down with black tea.

We had an early morning (7am) rise in order to make the lift that the hostel had arranged for us to Pula. This lift was a dream and only cost 7Euros each. I (Sam) even managed to watch a film in the back of the retired guys brand new Golf! We arrived at the Art Hostel and it was very much ‘under construction’ and frustratingly our life line (wifi) did not reach the anywhere with the dorm. We went into town ...
