... before we get to Croatia. This is where we receive a major shock. There we were barreling down the freeway, halfway through Slovenia, when we are flagged down by the police. "Damn," I thought, "A speed trap." Nope - if only it was a speed trap! ... truffle cream and sliced truffles on bread, truffle oil & honey, and a truffle omelet. All of it was amazing but the truffle omelet was the best. It was lots of grated truffles cooked with eggs & Parmesan cheese with sliced truffles on top. There were also white and red wines that the family made as well.
