Caught the bus to Verudela Beach. Got pizza for lunch. Pula has a lot of Italian influence so the pizza is very good. Then we got tickets for the blow up playground in the water at the beach. We climbed up the rock climbing wall and jumped off and jumped on the trampoline and went down the slide into the water. So much ...

... is delightful as is Piran which is like a mini Venice. A dedicated bike path connects the two which is very flat considering the hills it is surrounded by....should have taken that route on my run yesterday!!

We have not really gotten into the Slovenian cuisine as it appears to be squid and white fish, not really our thing but if you like that type of food it is very well priced.

Anyway I'm off for another frozen Margarita xx
