I got back to the pick up point at 2.15, 15 minutes before the bus was due to leave. I picked up my bag and went to the toilet but as I was coming out to board the bus it started pulling away, five minutes before it was due to leave. After a late breakfast we took the shuttle bus into Paihia and sat by the beach writing postcards and reading. Thirsty work so time for a beer at the Alongside Bar.
