Day Two: The Hotel

... Off to the Beach, it's about a 10 minute walk past a couple of hotels, taverna's and shops.The Beach is a narrow sandy bay with the Bluest water around a small harbour. There's a row of Taverna's along the front and it's generally a nice quiet area.
Off come shoes and a walk through the edge of the water takes us to a small wooden jetty where we all sit and soak up the sun. Feel So Relaxed ...

... walk up to it we sing "bad to the bone...da da da da da....bad to the bone" Yes, because we look SO BAD! LOL) and we raced into town for dinner at the Taverna Poseidon restaurant and shared a seafood plate for two. It was very good and the staff were super friendly and came rushing back with a second Limoncello after dinner drink when I oooood and aahhed at how good it tasted! We wandered around after that enjoying the sunset ...

... the pressie has not arrived and I doubt it will; or at least maybe months down the track? Greek time!
Mind you, if there is such a thing as reincarnation, I think I would choose to come back as a Greek mumma with my tribe around me, eating Greek food, drinking ouzo, smashing plates and dancing! I love the Greek people and their culture.
