... scrabbled across encountering a wild eyed and sweaty German. "The cave.....I've looked for 10 years!". In horror I imagined this frantic figure scurrying the hillside for a decade with his flimsy map and as he bolted ahead of us I feared he might slip in his haste and we'd hear a shriek and look down on his tiny form far below. ... leaped. They sold freshly squeezed juice so Maggie and I padded in and rang the bell. Catarina sliced three home grown oranges and offered Maggie a bowl of water and worrying a handful of cat food, which thankfully she rejected! I shared my jamon with her instead and we admired the multicoloured cats that emerged from the overgrown garden. ... Just like yesterday she was excellent company on the ride home as we chatted horses and travel. Pete traded some valuable rope for regular fish from one of the old boys in the marina and created a beautiful light batter with flour and San miguel. Lovely fish and chip dinner to finish off the day! I love my weekends! ... his white dinner jacket, black trousers, black shirt and white bow tie. Our team performed admirably in the syndicate quiz finishing 1st equal on 17 points. However we lost out on the tie-break. The question was "How long was the Hundred Years' War"? There were 3 teams in the tiebreak. We thought 113 years and the other 2 teams went for 65 and 114 years. The correct answer was 116 so we were close but not close ...

... it looks great. Unfortunately this tour is a bit rushed to actually get inside some of these places. They do however, give you an over view of what is here to see. We have about 1/2 an hour to wander some of the downtown area (mostly jewellery and cafes) before we have to head back to the ship. We head back and have some lunch. All in all this island seems like an expensive place for the rich and famous play in. Not the kind of place we will likely come back ...
