... and to go to high school they have to go to LaSpecia. These children ride the train to school everyday! What a hassle. Even in the cities, they dont seem to have the same school hours as we're used to. Seems strange. Ricky had some "issues" our first day in Cinque Terre. ... flip flops on the trail. I can't even imagine what our feet would feel like if we made that decision. In the end it took us about 50 minutes and the vistas were spectacular. The hike was similar to the Baden Powell Trail with lots of steps and ups and downs. A little exercise didn't hurt considering all we've done since we have been here is eat, drink, check out the sights (for the record, at least we walk to the sights), eat and drink!

... the train up to Monterosso! I went for a bit of a walk around, but the rain had set in a little bit so I didn't give it the full scout out.. However I did did a cafe that did the best coffee since I have been in Europe!!!
