      ... top of the inner wall and looking at the outer wall and the hill you would have to climb before reaching the citadel, it would seem a bit silly to even think about storming the place.

      Later that evening we all went up to Cortona for an ice cream and a walk through the town at night after a dinner of Lasagne expertly cooked by Jenny.

      ... formed new friendships with the Canadians. Mama sat at the end of the table looking very tired but lasted through the night until 11pm.

      It was a great end to our 4 month trip and a privilege to experience.

      We have both compiled our top three highlights of the trip:For Mike:1) the cruise2) going on Mont Blanc Panoramic trip and under the glacier3=) Mt St Michel and Gorge du Tarn

      ... packaged food from the supermercato, we had to laugh!

      After a wander through these gorgeous streets and a wee bit of shopping we sat in the sun and drank lattes and ate gorgeous pastries.

      After a siesta we made our way down for our evening cooking school lesson, tonight we made bread salad, mushroom risotto, roasted chicken in a herbed rub and apple cake (all with Italian names of course!) So here I am, full and ready for bed!

      Acid trips

      ... It was nowhere near as good as the Disney version and there was a bit with clowns and things like that that made me feel like I was on an acid trip (or what I imagine one would be like) not to mention the fact that the clowns were downright creepy.
