... by Alita – best pasta so far in Italy – Barilli pappadelle with vitello sauce. This was followed by yummy beef and chicken coteletta and chips and salad and yummy paste (cakes) including a millefeille and watermelon and coffee. ... had got so late by then we had to check it was cooked with a head torch! We are now sat outside n the dark, citronella candle burning, listening to tonight’s entertainment outside the bar; an Italian singer who sings well known classic songs….in Italian, and also plays the trumpet. He’s not bad, certainly adds a certain Italian ambience to our last night in Umbria. La dolce vita tonight; life is good!

... and anchovies (big thumbs down from us both but Lyn ate it!). The pizzas were made fresh by a specialist pizza chef. Wow. The dough was just perfect. Thin but still slightly chewy. Best pizza ever. Tegz left loads of hers though; she said it tasted like cheesy wotsits. Strange girl; she loves cheesy wotsits!
