... our semi separate trips. Drove the car from Verona to Milan this morning and Google indicated a less than two hour trip but the international airport Milan Malpensa is quite a way to the west of Milan central and it took 2 hrs 20 minutes. It was quite a tiring time driving on the freeway filled with trucks, all weaving in and out at the speed limit of 130 km per hour. The little manual Fiat had to be "driven" not like the Honda with ...

... so we stayed for quite awhile. Went from the hotel to the wedding as a group by bus taxi and the photos will show the beautiful palace/ museum where the ceremony was held. (Palazzo Della Ragione) Not a large wedding, just close family and friends, which added to the very emotional wedding. Finally we managed to get to the right spot only a few minutes late which was OK. But we ...

... of leather all around. Unfortunately, we left town right at rush hour. All I could do was pray "Mio Dio",....."My God". It was TERRIBLE! Traffic was horrendous,...but it was the hundreds of motor cycles that kept weaving in and out, within inches of our car that scared me to death. Dennis was amazing! How he drove in that mess and didn't havens over an hour an accident was beyond me. It took us over an hour to get out ...

    Bramasole - Day 21

... up to the top of the hill and of course, there was an old church. We headed back into Cortona and sat at a cafe in the main piazza and enjoyed a coffee. I left Jack sitting there and wandered off to look at some shops. We explored Cortona 's streets some more, then bought some lunch and walked back to Bramasole for one, last look and to eat our picnic. The sun was pelting down - it would have to have been in the mid thirties again. We rested ...
