We left Liege this morning at 10:30 and made excellent time through two locks and 35 km to Huy. I try and explain Pete's croquet, but I don't think it gets through! We are back in French speaking Belgium, after our time in the very different Flemish speaking ...

... but I'm not good at that sort of language. Even in print. Even as a quote. A friendly Belgium came to his aid but Peter merely dusted himself down, said " it happens - I'm used to it" and walked back over to me sat in Herman looking on in horror. At this point we decided it was too awkward for me to try and drive across the station against the flow of traffic to get to the diesel pump and we would stop at the next one. Lets face it, this one had already had its fair ...
