      ... to book my overnight train ticket and instead was advised to take the bus, which I could book on the day, which was cheaper, even with the extra night at the hostel. I then went to the Botanic Gardens which were so much bigger than I expected, with several garden types within the gardens. Really beautiful and really tranquil. Then it was time for Chinatown!       ... to be true. The ferry crossing was uneventful and easy enough, so after a couple of hours we hopped into the minibus for the final leg of a journey that had lasted longer than either of us had been prepared for.
