... I'd not been to the beach yet properly, the waves are ******* massive which I suppose is normal for a surfer beach. I stood/floated in the sea and watched the sun go down, occasionally being knocked over or thrown under by huge waves, ******* class, one of my favourite memories will be this. ... Bali. Some friends had arrived from Jakarta and so I set off with them for an adventure. We went to Padang Pandang which is where the party scene in Eat, Pray, Love was shot. This beach was beautiful but quite busy. Then we went to Balangan which is my favourite beach on Bali. This beach is slightly isolated and thus less busy.
