... br> Taormina is another town up high, so if you want to go to the beach you are able to catch a cable car down.

The town has a great vibe with a lively main street full of cafes, bars and tourists.

You walk along to the busy main square with a fabulous view, a beautiful church with a bride about to enter and 2 buskers singing 'Volare'.

Taormina has an old Greek amphitheatre that has a ...

The island was then bought from the town by a Ms. Trevelyan, who built a small house facing the sea and imported exotic plants, which thrived in the Mediterranean climate.
