... as the sea front was swamped with depressingly familiar fast food restaurant names, surly shop vendors selling I Love Cyprus hats and garish bars pumping out ear bleedingly bad Euro house. Only the reassuring chirrupping of crickets and an excellent chicken souvlaki sourced down a quiet back street reminded me I was now on the other side of Europe.
Day 2 involved a day trip to the capital Nicosia, on a bus populated almost exclusively ...
... screams, but also the smell of fresh grilled seafood and steak mingled in the air.
GIFTS OF NATURE
It is magic out here on summer evenings feeling the land breeze, looking out at the beautiful galaxy of stars above and enjoying the serenity and tranquility of 'gifts' that nature offers.

... feels more turkish in town as not that many tourists around and some of the local ladies wearing more traditional clothing. Lots of little shops selling stuff you would never want to buy alongside ironmongers and tinbashers. After our town explore we jumped back into the jeep and took a slow drive home stopping off at a nice cafe with stunning views for a cold drink. Picked up some bread on the way home arriving back at 2:30pm. Set up the comfy chairs on the patio and settled ...
... of the original floor from the time of its creation at many years BC, but it too had it's challenges. It's a long way, nay a bloody long way to walk through the Siq before the beautiful, carved Treasury emerges with the sun striking it and glowing an orange red colour.
