... along the coast for a while before climbing up into the hills up and over to the bustling town of Pula with its docks and Roman amphitheatre.

We stop in Pula at a Lidl store. We have been replenishing supplies in Lidl in every country we have visited on this tour. And every store is exactly the same in size and layout to the Lidl just a few hundred metres up the road from where we live in ...

Really slacking on my entries. I feel so tired and exhausted most days and can't work up the willpower! After leaving Zadar, I went onto a town called Motovun for three days. After a bit of a break we walked down through the marina checking out the boats, all ...

... There are small cabanas that you can hire, deck chairs to hire, a spot to get a massage and hundreds of people in the water. So we change and head down to the walkway and find a restaurant for lunch. Then we squeeze ourselves onto a piece of concrete at the edge of the water and jump in. Its beautiful. The waters warm and clear, the bottom is pebbled, we can walk out easily and swim out for 30 metres and still see the ...

... a dive, dirty Spaniards were to blame.
The town away from the front was actually quite nice and to Nath's disappointment, every street had a barbers on! After much contemplation and 'weighing up of costs' he took the plunge and stepped inside a barbers, much to the amusement of the staff. They charged even less for a proper cut than the butcher in Pula! In the end we all decided to get our hair 'fixed'.
We took a good walk ...
