    ... last stop of the morning was to an old sugar cane factory, now a museum. We toured an area where samples of raw sugar cane and sugars in various refining stages were tasted, and then across to a Bar where the group sampled different types of rum. The museum was quite extensive and showed how the industry became established and the history of sugar production.

    ... about 10,000 Chinese-Mauritians living in Mauritius. I guess you find Chinese people wherever you go...

    So we arrived in the afternoon. The airport is apparently new and it was very easy to use. The weather was perfect, too. It wasn't too cold or too hot at night. Excited to see what's coming ahead in this paradise island!

    ... car), from Dorrigo to Bellingen and back - twisting and turning the whole way from mountain high to valley floor, sheer drops on one side and towering cliffs on the other. It could have been mistaken for the Alps, we couldn't resist playing the James Bond theme to accompany our descent, it fitted perfectly into the setting and resulted in goosebumps for the whole ride.
