Doing it the french way
... what our choice would be. Along the quayside, motorhomes were ranked alongside each other, settling for an evening and night.
Fabulous meal at a quayside restaurant. Wet and windy weather just held off long enough to walk to the restaurant and back.
The storm came in about midnight. Wind and lashing rain. But we were cosy and comfortable.
Amazing how many motorhomes were lined up in the morning.

Laying siege to Honfleur

Monet, Monet, Monet!!!!
Today we are off on our first trip, pre booked with Le Havre taxis we are off to Monet's garden at Giverny and to visit Rouen. Unfortunately we haven't slept well, there are strange banging and crashing noises around our cabin,maybe it was docking but we hope for a better night tonight.
We meet Francis, our taxi driver, at 8am just outside the terminal building and off we set for our hour and a half drive to Giverny.
