... and as soon as we got out the front my thighs both cramped up. Time for some icecream to cool off and then off to the water taxi. Off on the taxi, and an hour later we were back in Trogir, and it didn't take too long to get on the second taxi to Okrug. The walk ahead was a bit daunting, but once we had some cold drinks it didn't seem too bad.

Back at the campsite we both went for a quick swim on the private beach in the perfectly protected little ...

... which turned out to be a small, long handled copper pot of strong, thick, Turkish style coffee that has to be poured into a small cup on top of a sugar cube. It was strong and delicious, fairly bitter even with the sugar cube. It clearly had a stronger punch than any beer.
Luckily, upon return to our hotel, I found a can of emergency beer in Red, so I could enjoy a glass of Gosser; appropriately enough Austria's best brew in one of the last outposts of Austrian Empire. ...

... a roof. The sound was great.
We returned to the ship very happy with our day, to have a late lunch, a snack with a drink later as we sailed away, and then went to the early show. A pianist, Craig Dahn, who was a protege of Liberace gave a performance. He was very good. Enjoyed the Lone Ranger's theme song the best!!! Hi Ho Silver! Brought back memories of Robin Hood at 3:30 ...

... town of Split took shape within the palace walls; Diocletian's Temple of Jupiter was converted into a Christian baptistery and his mausoleum became a cathedral. The entire old section of Split, with the palace as its centerpiece, is a virtual open-air museum with the city's contemporary life bustling through it.

... chaser! We chilled out there for quite a while listening to the metal music and chatting with him, the guy behind the bar, and his girlfriend. Another kid came in who was apparently only 15, and we talked with him for a while too, then eventually we decided to leave to find some food. We walked around the streets for a bit and found an Italian style restaurant called Maslina, where we got a table and ordered quickly as a big group of around 30 people ...
