... that didn't stop Mom, Dad, Tom and me from walking around the whole city while CJ worked on some schoolwork. We had a late start because we putzed around the apartment a bit and Mom and Dad found a cool market where they bought us some food for the next few days. When we ventured out, we walked out to Ponte Vecchio again (can't get enough of that bridge!) and over to the other side, where we had lunch, wine, and the first cannoli of the trip. ... an early start today to get up, pack up , have some oily foccacia for breaky and head to the train station for a big day of travelling. We got our 9min train back to La Spezia and waited around for our next train to Milan. After 3.5hours we arrived in Milan where we just waited at the train station for our train/bus to the airport. At the airport we checked in and waited for our 2 hour flight to Athens where we arrived at 9pm. ...

... gelati shop, and of course finished the evening with a delicious gelati. I had my normal chocolate and lemon plus a third flavour - banana - very nice - just like a Barny Banana - yumm!!!

... there was going to be a wedding reception there in the next few hours. The wine: Oh so good. The olive oil: even better. Apparently in Italy they are not allowed to add sugar to their wine, so it’s all in the grape. We ended up leaving there with 6 bottles of wine and some olive oil, so it was a lovely little visit.

We have decided so far that if we ever come back to Italy we are spending some time in Positano and some time ...
