Today we left our hotel at a more reasonable hour and drove through the countryside to Carmignano and arrived at the Capezzana Wine Estate. It is a noble wine estate known for its red wine and vin santo, the sweet dessert wine of Italy. The family-owned estate and winery is still run by several members of the Bonacossi Family. ... history, you really should come here. Had a lovely lunch, then met back up with Helen for a visit to the Uffizi Museum. Not being a lover of museums, I was hesitant, but this place was amazing, also. Again, you readers of "The Inferno" by Dan Brown would enjoy it, even if you never say a painting. Anyway, Helen is a Art History Major, and actually an artiist, so it was quite wonderful. We had 2 hours with her, ...
