Up early and had a walk up to Piazza Michaelangelo. No crowds and beautiful views along the river and bridges. Another perfect day in Florence. We walked back via the Rose Garden and stopped for a cappuccino at our local bar downstairs. Fabulous start to the day. The guys went for a walk and the girls went SHOPPING. Had a great time. We all bought gorgeous bags ...

Our guide, William really brought the town and its rich history to life. The majority of our large group left at this point to go to Pisa while our group ...

... mushroom pesto. Both were to die for. On the second platter there was fresh Mozzarella, marinaded zucchini and red peppers, cherry tomatoes, proscuitto, salami, and turkey. Again, we finished both of our platters (we were really hungry from walking). Last and certainly not least we were served 3 different pastas family style. There was a broccoli and chicken rotini, spicy tomato sauce with penne, and the best (which I wish I had saved more room ...
