... more convenient. We agree. :) We met our wonderful host Tommaso, who is just lovely. He was born and raised in Florence and had plenty of advice for us. We spent the evening in our beautiful apartment and cooked a yummy pasta dinner. We cooked fresh strozzapreti noodles and smothered them in a fresh tomato and olive sauce garnished with frommagio and paired with a local chianti. Delizioso! I was in Rome!  Florence has been really relaxing, I haven't pushed too hard to see all the sights though I've enjoyed the ones I did, and the city is nice and walkable with more normal and accessible shops than Rome and Naples.  And the hostel here is very soothing, I hope I end up booking more like this!  Will have to perfect my technique... all a learning experience.  Fingers crossed for the one in Venice, where I chose a new one with no prior ...
