... over! Our guide assured us that it should stand for another 1000 years, as not only her job, but the whole town of Pisa relies on the tower for its survival. Apparently the builders realised as the tower was being built that it was not straight, so in order to attempt to cover up their poor workmanship, they compensated for this by offsetting the centre of the tower! ... I was searching all week for a hand written menu. We've heard those are the best. Turns out there's one literally one minute from our apartment. It's called Vagalume Wine Bar. There's a piazza area right in front with lots of locals... We found a good spot! The menus placed on the tables were handwritten in cursive on a pretty stationary-like paper and set on top of a cutting board! So cute! It was 75 degrees, no wind, perfect for outdoor dining. ... He was wearing a brown suit and hat. He had dark wavy black hair. I looked at the portrait and asked Jeff "Doesn't he look familier ?" Jeff looked at the picture and says yes.
