... We had a cover over us but the rain was hard enough to get wet from the sides. The taxi to the Leaning Tower cost 8 euro. It was a 10 minute ride through through the city, if that. The downpour had created a lot of surface water and a number of times, particularly in narrow lanes as our taxi sped along, the pedestrians got a heavy spray of water.
