      ... into Dalat were better than the cities! There were monkey trees every where, as far as the eye could see and fur trees! All sorts of flowers lining the main roads, hanging baskets and the roundabouts were full of flowers aswell. A lot of the buildings were French architecture with the boxed windows and French/New Orleans balconies, well maintained in all sorts of subtle colours like pinks and yellows.       ... We have booked a 3 day easyrider tour whereby you take the scenic roads from Dalat to Nha Trang through the Central Highlands down towards the beach on the back of a motorbike driven by a local guide. Last time we were in Vietnam we attempted to book a similar tour with a guy called Chan but it never worked out and we still had his contact details so luckily enough we were able to book him and his team this time round.

      ... and we enjoy a trip in a pagola and then a relaxing visit to the Truc Lam Zen Monastery. Here monks train for personal purification and peace within one's soul. The gardens and design are just superb and we are lucky to see the blue hanging Jade vine which only flowers a few weeks a year. The Monastery has over 100 monks and nuns here who follow a strict training regime.

      After this we are taken to a nice restaurant and have a view of the Eiffel ...

      ... on top of you and finally the blind faith drop you had to make when you ran out of rope to finally resurface and take a long awaited breath post washing machine made this the best and most challenging of the day.  Wow.  I cannot rave more about this company, this tour and the exhilarating feeling it leaves you with after accomplishing all the challenges along the way.  It ranks in the top of my favourite days of my trip so far, and this was certainly ...
