People were dressed up everywhere like it was Halloween and we later discovered it was a carnival.     ... translated all the announcements for us. We finally boarded at 4.30 for our 1 hour flight to Cologne. Made a heavy landing in light snow and waited for 45 minutes for some extremely wet bags to finally arrive. Taxi to the reception place to collect the keys ( where the taxi left us two blocks from where we were supposed to be so a short walk in the rain found us the reception).     ... 2010! Marie lived with us for 3 months in 2010 and again for a few weeks in 2011 while she was a Rotary Exchange Student sent to Proserpine. Marie has developed into a beautiful, confident and caring adult. Marie moved to Cologne about 18 months to take up studies at the Cologne University and is from all accounts progressing well.
