      ... not have a huge harbour for visiting tourist ships. This meant it was not busy with tourists.
      - A small village ( another) with a small harbour and a lovely ambience ( again ).
      - Sandy Beach in Bol. It looked lovely from the Futura but the Croatian definition of sand is different to our Kiwi definition!

      ... Safran Foer en route to Switzerland (thanks for the loan, Jacky!) and absolutely loved it. I decided to go from something very contemporary to an American classic - a decision sort of forced by the fact that English books are hard to come by in foreign countries.       ... happened to be in Bol to celebrate Croatia's independence day. The hostel owners have a boat, so we went to watch the fireworks from the harbour. It was really nice. We also tried some of the local street food which consisted of some nice sea food dishes.
