C/ Pla de Carbonell 1 Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands, 17310, 34-972-36-43-22
... this period of year there are mostly aged people resting there, however I noticed there a lot of clubs near the beaches, so I consider that in summer this town is full of students. The beaches are sandy and what is important all those beaches are public. And one more thing - there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES in Lloret de Mar!
Lloret de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands eleoshkaGreetings from Santa cruz, la palma, canary islands, spain.

What Tenerife had in city life on the sea, la palma does not. This is more of a sleepy Spanish colonial city on the sea with cliffs rising straight out of the sea and narrow black sand beaches. Carla and I walked into town today for a look at this quaint city and immediately I felt good here. It reminded me of Antigua, Guatemala, very narrow cobblestone streets, Spanish colonial architecture ...
Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003... are really good at building blocks of flats, so there are loads of those around too. I live in a really big house with a Catalan women, her boyfriend and another lodger. It´s about 20 minutes walk from the school. Feels a bit like we´re in the countryside cos you can hear roosters crowing in the morning and there are 2 big alsatians for company in the house. It´s pretty cold here, way colder than madrid (which was high 20s every day ...
Granollers, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands dave-mcgowan... at Roses looked much better with a lot more seafood included.

After lunch we set off up to the castle, inside its walls are numerous little houses which are still inhabited, although the satellite dishes were rather incongruous! After all this exercise it was time for a cocktail followed by a spot of shopping before eventually heading back to L’Escala.

Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands nanofino... Just to give a very brief background, Catalunya is a region that is in northern Spain (Barcelona is very much a part of it) and southern France. There is political tension here as to whether Catalunya should be considered a part of Spain, and those sentiments are displayed throughout the city through tags and such. But there are others who think that Spain is beautiful as an integrated, diverse country, whole and complete in its long history. (I ...
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands aspinmaster... to completion. Amazing place. Full concrete factory inside the church and spending around 1 million euro per month on construction (but bringing in 50M Euro pa from tourists)

Sitting on the balcony now having caviar, beer and cheese with my sister and wife....does not get much better than this for our annivesary!!!
Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands buckgw... has a patio on the roof with a gorgeous view of the old town. It would be great to hang out but I only have an hour or so before sunset to see the city. Again, I walk along the top of the town wall's fortifications. At sunset, I made it to a great overlook of the 14th-century cathedral. It is supposed to have an amazing interior but I am far too late. I just enjoy the sunset behind the cathedral with the mountains as a backdrop.

The ...
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands will.traveller... with looks and personality) it failed. We tried our luck with the next group of people who happened to be all boys. Finally we had some friends. We united this group of boys with the group of girls we attempted to meet and made a super party with alcohol, shesha, sunset. However, the party was short lived because the girls were ugly.
Santa Susanna, Catalonia, Spain chris_jones01... The countryside was filled with rolling hills, farms, and small villages. Many of the hills were topped with small castles old observation towers. It was very relaxing to be out of the city... until we reached the foot of the small "mountain" upon which our hotel, Castell D'Emporda, was located. The road up the mountain was all hairpin turns and cliff-face. We sat in second gear almost all of the way up (over 20 kilometers). The whole experience ...
