    ... that made our backdrop. We continued to walk and climbed a tower to get a great 360 view, definitely worth the huffing and puffing. Extremely randomly we heard music coming from a cave just off the city wall, why not go check it out? I can't really explain, but it was kind of an underground event that was being setup, but with projectors, chairs, blue lights and booze.     ... but was it our ideal destination? Cadaques in my own words is a 'bland', out of date tiny Spanish seaside resort. Vintage to some, plain boring to others. It wasn't long before we cut our losses and drove to the neighbouring town of Roses. The main aim of the day was to see some nice places, maybe sit on a beach, have a walk and eat some tasty fish.     ... progressed to the land of the rental cars - seemed smooth running, well, when papa had queued up for the CORRECT rental car company - apparently assuming you are at the right queue is not ok.     ... of the 200 (SO glad i wasn't last ) it was my turn. Slivia (the mom), Joan (the dad - pronounced like 'Joanne'), Carla (12), Gisela (8). And english teacher from the school came to pick me up (on a saturday! - how nice) Anyway! the whole family were very friendly - on the form it said they speak 'english'...hmm... well they do speak english words yes..but sentences not so much.
