Bye bye Greek Islands...back to Athens

A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Aug 06, 2014

... from the Greek tour will be there and I can go for a day trip down to Pompeii which is the only place in Italy that I still really wanted to see. Boom trip to Rome booked!! Decision made and fight booked at 1am ready to leave the hostel at 7am the next morning to fly at midday. Probably the most spontaneous decision I've ever made (I'm not very adventurous). The park bench was not quite as comfy and Andrew slept for about 3 minutes total as the little square was busy. The locals kept late hours. People were still out eating and chatting at 5am, heading home from work and ...

... other hand, Ben was excited and ready for some deal making and bargaining!! :) He was the go-getter and thrill seeker in making deals for a place to stay! And boy did he do great!! I wish I had videoed this because it is something I've never seen. Try to picture, but Then imagine for real bc that might be a little bit of how this was. We walk off the boat, luggage in tow, and we walk towards all the people, buses, cars; in the one direction you have to go. As ...
