... Ben, Julie, Louise then me at the back. It's quite high up no the whole course takes us a good hour and a half, but a few highlights were the zip wires and some of the clever rope bridges such as a skate board one and a climbing wall. On eth long zip wire to the island, Julie does not make the landing platform and needs to be rescued by the man who zips out to rescue her, he then pulls her up with his hands to the platform, ...

Once we have the car unpacked and put away we head up to ...

... tickets and head in. This zoo is frankly brilliant you get very near to the animals and as its in an old limestone quarry it's used to great effect to form part of the barrier to avoid using fences everywhere. A few highlights were getting to feed the giraffes with leaves and twigs, also they have an aviary that is massive, is have African birds flying around such as parrots, herons, Ibis and some vultures it's a brilliant ...

We got a relatively early start on the day and were standing in line at Chateau de Versailles by 9:45am. It only took us about 45 minutes to get through the queue into the Palace, but what a crush once inside. This place is a mecca for tour guides who charge at least triple the €15 entrance. I imagine they have full-time work here 365 days a year if the want it. Last time Doug and I were here 3 years ago, it was September and the crowd was thin in comparison. We jostled our ...
