Villa Flori Elegant and Relaxing

Wonderful hotel right on Lake Como. A little too far to walk into the town of Como, however, the ferry stop was only a 90 second walk from the hotel and the quaint town of Cernobbia was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. While in Cernobbia visit the VILLA D'ESTE it's something to see, and if you're Bill Gates you may want to stay there. We had a very comfortable, clean, elegant room with the balcony right over Lake Como. Enjoy a their great continental breakfast outside by the Lake.

Nice Hotel

This is a nice hotel,perhaps a bit overpriced. If you are looking for a luxury hotel VILLA D'ESTE is much better . The restaurant has nice furniture indoors and plastic chairs outdoors. The level of the cuisine did not impress me at all. Indeed I prefer to dine at GATTO NERO and VILLA D'ESTE. I would suggest this hotel if you do not expect luxury .The rooms are confortable and acceptable .

WOW -- What a perfect place. It is a small, but beautiful hotel right on the shores of Lake Como. Close to town, but not in the midst of the hustle bustle. The views are wonderful. We had the Jr. Suite and it was perfect. Views from both rooms, a deck over the water. It was like living in your own villa. The breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast itself was more upscale than most places we stayed. The lobby is peaceful and a great place to curl up with a glass of wine and a book. The restaurant downstairs is excellent. While is seems a bit pricey it was actually a great value for the type of meal and service you receive. We ate there twice in 3 nights! I recommend a car to explore the area although the public transportation is good in the area. This was truly a wonderful hotel.

A secret on the shores of Como

Villa Flori, on the banks of Lake Como, is a small but beautifull hotel, a great place to sit on a balcony sipping prosseco and unwinding from the stresses of life. The staff cannot be more helpfull, restaurant Raimondi with in the hotel offers fabulous food at reasonable rates , charming service that makes you feel that you dont want to leave . Transport is very easy, there is no need to hire a car the water buses lave 200 yards from the hotel and cost pennies, Como is easy to walk around, you can take bigger boats to other parts of the lake Bellaggio, Mennaggio endlass possibilities are to be had,

Villa Flori-Charming and Relaxing!

Stayed at this wonderful small hotel with my entire family, and it couldn't have been better. The rooms were clean, breakfast very nice, and the restaurant staff quite entertaining if you get to know them! A short walk from a boat ferry dock (which did not require us to go into Como town-a 2km walk/ride away). It was very quiet at night and it is directly on the lake. The restaurant prepared wonderful meals, both for breakfast and for dinner, or even a snack of wine and cheese in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend this charming small hotel to anyone staying in the Lake Como area.

A wonderful relaxed hotel

Traveling with four couples and stayed at Villa Flori for three nights. It was wonderful. Front desk staff were a bit distant and not really willing to give recommendations for dinner elsewhere. BUT the wait staff in the restaurant were super. Had two great meals there and out one night to the sister hotel in Como - Hotel Terminus - glad we stayed at Villa Flori and the meal at Terminus was merely ok. I would definitely stay at Villa Flori again and again. Ferry station an easy 3 minute walk.

Honeymoon destination

Managed to keep this destination as a complete suprise from my wife! The view from our balcony was enchanting, from the mist drifting down the lake in the morning to the lights of como in the evening. Perfect location for unwinding or visiting the lake attractions by taxi boat. Cernobbio is just 10min walk, many good restaurants and bars. But the hotel's own Ristorante Raimondo was beautiful, alfresco dinning by the lake. All staff were friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was lovely as was the weather.

Beginning of Our Honeymoon

Of all the "blind" hotels we've ever booked, Hotel Villa Flori was the best yet. I'm SO GRATEFUL that we did not end up staying right in the town of Como.....the location of this hotel (a little remote but easily accessable to the "water taxi" stop) was perfect for us, we were told it is the ONLY hotel that is right on the water. We slept with our curtains open and from our bed had the full scenic view of the City of Como. Very intimate and romantic and the food wonderful. Everyone from Nadia at the front desk to Augusto in the Bar made us feel at home.

We'd love to go back again!!

Absolutely lovely

Spent three nights at Hotel Villa Flori and could have stayed indefinitely. It is close enough to walk to great restaurants and town of Cernobbio and the dock to catch the boat to view all of Lago Di Como. Just far enough out of town to feel relaxed and quaint. The interior is charming and the site cannot be beat overlooking the Lake and the City of Como.

Great stay!

We stayed four nights at the Villa Flori and had a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.The location is good. It's about an 8-10 euro cab ride in to town, or walk down the hill to the boat and take that over.Ristorante Raimondo was fabulous.
