    ... horrific ones too. There is an English theatre, it's closed at the moment but outside is a cupboard with novels in and on it a sign saying that they are free to take. They are all in English and make an effort to entice others to read and learn our language. Imagine a Polish theatre in London that did that. How would that go down. I see a bus saying Frankfurt ...

    The flight from Singapore to Frankfurt is approximately 12hrs and since our departure time is around midnight Brisbane time, we decide to skip the meal and try and catch some sleep.

    The Lufthansa plane is a relatively new A380 Airbus and we have fully reclining seats that make a welcome bed for the night. So it's lights out until I awake around 7am Brisbane time and amuse myself with another movie before switching ...

    ... that crosses the river, which has also become overcome with love locks and even a love bicycle; at least I think that's what it was. We were expecting bad weather, so we were pleasantly surprised to even see a bit of sunshine, even if it is Summer!
