    Well I got down to train station buuuut I didn't have my book so there was no point in going without it. The next train wasn't for another 2 hrs and I would have missed my window of cooler weather. So I reluctantly walked all the way back up the hill to my place to get my stupid book then went to breakfast amd killed time till the next train.     ... we booked through Airbnb. He was lovely, and his place had a little balcony and a view of the hill with the houses and grapevines. He had grown up in this village, although he had left for a few years, and then came back. The house we stayed in had been his grandparents'. So special!     ... Trieste Italy a few hours later. Looked over our options to get to Cinque Terra and decided, yes because we are cheap, that what the heck, if we take a night train to Cinque Terra it will save us a room fee for the night and the night train was like half the cost of one that would have got us there during the day. Of course the day train would get us there in about 7 hours instead of our "so fun eventful night train that has four changes and 12 hours in total time". ...
