      ... their freshly made pasta and pesto. This town is fantastic!!
      The next day we walked the abandoned train tunnels. The tunnels have been converted into bike and pedestrian paths. They are right on the ocean edge and are beautiful! Moss, stone, dripping, cool, slightly lit tunnels. The walk was great! We explored the next town and all the beaches in between. The water was clear and warm. LOVED ...

      ... tunnel, who's walls were featured with glass mosaic work that portrayed images of the sea and sun, to the town from the station. Riomaggiorie is a picturesque village with its sunset coloured buildings cascading their way down the cliff side to the sea.       ... but fine and warm. Unfortunately this changed to cold and a down pour of rain. We put on our shorts and walking shoes and walked the UNESCO 4 km protected path from Corniglia to Vernazza along the coast. It cost 5 Euro each because it is part of a national park. There is an alternate path that is free. It started raining about an hour before Vernazza and did not stop for the rest of the day. The path is a rough rocky steep track and it got slippery.
