Relaxed morning, went downstairs for breakfast at 8.30am, the restaurant was cafe style, blue tablecloths, lace dollies and yellow flowers - really cute.

I noticed everything in Interlaken has history, all the buildings have stayed the same – so are old looking - just the use might be different – to …

I really wanted to capture something of our Paris bike ride but lost all the recording because the device had accidentally switched over to photo mode so for the four hours I only go a series of pictures. Pity because it was ideal and classic GoPro territory. It was just too awkward to be able to check settings as we were concentrating on avoiding people, traffic and following our guides advice to stick close to avoid getting separated from the group ...

We walked across the road to find the lake this morning…and were blown away. The lake is a stunning blue colour, which the more geologically aware amongst us (i.e. Lyn and Tegz) tells me is due to the alluvium ...

... or something. They have lovely flower boxes outside their windows that are simply blooming with all different coloured flowers. It is so pretty!

We bought tickets for the train but it was another 15 – 20 minutes before it would leave so Eli and I went and bought a couple of hot dogs. They were the worst hot dogs I’d ever eaten. Oh well. The train gave us a nice view of the town as we climbed up. Then we caught the cable car the rest of the way. It became very ...
