Relaxed morning, went downstairs for breakfast at 8.30am, the restaurant was cafe style, blue tablecloths, lace dollies and yellow flowers - really cute.

I noticed everything in Interlaken has history, all the buildings have stayed the same – so are old looking - just the use might be different – to …

Last night we got to SWITZERLAND! We got to our hostel which was called Backpacker's Villa. It was a little bit of a shock, but actually really nice. We had bunk beds. We got up pretty early, showered, ate breakfast, and met up with the rest of the girls and Danny and Ben (who were staying in another hostel called Balmers). Then we walked around town and waited around until 2 pm. At 2 pm we had PARAGLIDING. ...

The thing that was keeping me going was the thought that this was the Swiss alps and a once in a lifetime tipping, we had spent heaps of money to come to Switzerland to do this and that when I got to the top I could eat the Nutella. We sat and rested for a while until i was ready to keep going. We ...

... t have any bread for them though.

There was a bit of a festival or get together at the head of the lake. The locals were cooking sausages and serving melted cheese on bread. It looked yummy but we didn’t have any cash. They also did some folk dancing and the men did a march ringing massive cow bells – not quite sure what that was about. Mike had some cash and ended up getting a German sausage to share – we had a few bites – it was yum!
